Fairplex is home to the L.A. County Fair, Oktoberfest and Vans Warped Tour, but we are also a prime Los Angeles film location for movies and commercials.
You might not recognize our campus at first, but if you look closely, you will recognize many of the places you visit each year during the Fair, and during our many other year-round events. These two commercials are as different as night and day, yet both were shot around the same time on our grounds. Versatility at its finest.
Fairplex, as seen on TV:
A commercial by Rosland Capital features William Devane endorsing the company during a lively horse race at our track. (Makes you kind of miss the Fair, right?)
Meanwhile on the other side of campus, professional storm chaser Reed Timmer drives through an indoor rainstorm in Expo Hall 4 for Bosch Auto Parts:
