For decades, the Los Angeles International Competitions have bestowed gold medals to the best wines, spirits, olive oils and dairy products from around the globe, showcasing the winners at the LA County Fair.
Los Angeles International Wine Competition
Now in its 83rd year, the Los Angeles International Wine Competition showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event that is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious in the United States. On March 9 & 10, 2022, an esteemed panel of judges used a blind-tasting method, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism that have remained the competition’s foundation.
The 2022 Los Angeles International Wine Competition received a total of 1,250 wines and presented a total of 135 Best of Class Awards, 313 Gold Medal Awards, 567 Silver Medal Awards and 251 Bronze Medal Awards. The competition received wines from 15 countries including, Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain and the U.S.

Los Angeles International Spirits Competition
On March 9 & 10, 2022 the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition held its 16th competition with a total of 257 Spirits entries. Since introducing a spirits category in 2007, the LAISC has set the standard for judging distilled beverages.
This year, there were 1 Best of Show Awards, 9 Best of Class Awards, 102 Gold Medal Awards, 121 Silver Medal Awards and 31 Bronze Medal Awards. The competition received spirits from 19 different countries, including Australia, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Dominican Republic, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Myanmar, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom and the U.S.
