In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day, we thought we would share some fun facts about our staff at the Child Development Center at Fairplex!
Did you know…
- 20 teachers hold at least a bachelor’s degree
- 23 staff members have been here for at least 10 years
- In September teacher Martha Moreno will celebrate her 35-year anniversary working for the CDC
- 3 staff members are college professors
- The CDC offers Free Parent Education classes on Wednesday evenings
- University of La Verne student teachers raised over $1,600 last semester to refresh our Take-Home Backpack Program for the toddler, preschool and kindergarten children
- 27 current staff members have family members that are CDC alumni
