fairplex horses fires If you’re a resident of Southern California, you have been keeping tabs on the numerous wildfires wreaking havoc throughout our region. Many have been forced to evacuate, bringing their animals along with them.

Fairplex has once again opened its barns to horses and large farm animals in need of shelter during the evacuations — so far we have about 23 horses staying with us.

If you or someone you know is in need of a place to keep farm animals, please give us a call at (909) 865-4600 to confirm space availability. We have 250 stalls available, 20 of which are currently in use as of Thursday, at 1 p.m. Enter through Gate 12 off White Avenue upon arrival.

Thank you to the volunteers and staff who are working to provide a clean, safe space for these animals and their owners.

Our thoughts go out to those being affected by the fires, and to those who are bravely combating the flames.
