The long weekend is here and many of you already have BBQs, picnics and vacations planned, but for those of us who are staying local, here are a few things happening around LA:

Mission Circuit Dog Show (All Weekend): The Mission Circuit Dog Show will be at Fairplex all weekend long! Competitions will finish on Monday with top dog honors celebrated. More than 8,000 dogs are currently taking residence here so we’re in for quite the furry weekend! For more info, please visit missioncircuit.com.

Giant RV Spring Show (May 27-June 5): Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and that means road trips galore. Visit the Giant RV Spring Show at Gate 9. The latest recreational vehicles, show specials, supplies and accessories are yours for the shopping. Visit our website for more info. Admission is free!

Petal Drop LA (May 29): Petal Drop returns to DTLA this weekend, although exact time and place remain unknown. The anonymous art collective will invite the public to an industrial site within the city where thousands of fallen jacaranda blossoms will create a “surreal factory” to last through the morning. If anything, it should make for a great IG post.

Crawfest 2016 (May 29): 700 lbs of crawfish with all the fixings, all-you-can-drink beers and a souvenir cup are what awaits you at Crawfest 2016. Head over to The Brig in Venice Beach for this fantastic Sunday Funday celebration.

Free Admission to LACMA (May 30): LACMA is offering free admission on Memorial Day to the general public. Unwind from the long weekend and enjoy a day of art (and maybe grab a bite to eat at the adjacent Lemonade while you’re there!) For more information visit lacma.org.
