Happy December! Where has the year gone… it seems like just yesterday we were making plans for the 2015 LA County Fair. As usual, we still have plenty of things to do at Fairplex as we welcome the holiday season. Take your pick:

Prolong Twilight Cruise + Toy Drive (Dec 2): Catch the last Twilight Cruise of the year at Fairplex! Show off your prettiest hot rods, grab a beer and some friends, and wind down your week with fellow car lovers. In true holiday spirit, the event is running its’ annual Toy Drive! Bring an unwrapped toy for less fortunate kids of the Pomona Valley. For more info click here.

Harvest Festival Original Arts & Crafts Expo (Dec 4-6): It just wouldn’t be winter 
without the Harvest Festival! Shop homemade jewelry, art, furniture, home decor and more. It’s the perfect place to holiday shop unique pieces. For more info, visit

Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show (Dec 6): Now is the time to show off all that hard work you’ve spent on your cars! Whether you’ve been refurbishing a truck or polishing up your favorite hot rod, no one will appreciate your labor of love more than the attendees at the Pomona Swap Meet. RailGiants Train Museum (Dec. 12-13): Take a historical journey back to the glory days of the American Railroad at the RailGiants Train Museum. It’s free to the public and enjoyable for train lovers of all ages. Learn more about the exhibit here.

Holiday Half-Marathon (Dec 13-14): Run off the last of the Thanksgiving pounds (or just stock up for those extra holiday calories) at the Holiday Half-Marathon! Dress up in your Santa hats and elf tutus and join the fun. Register here: http://www.runholidayhalf.com/

Fairplex Garden Railroad (Dec 14): There’s nothing quite like the magic of this miniature world, sitting right here at Fairplex. Explore detailed scenic displays, including replicas of some of Pomona’s oldest and most beloved buildings. Our volunteers are always working on new projects and are happy to share on the latest updates!
