The 2014 Los Angeles County Fair has come and gone and we are hitting the ground running with our fall events! This is our most diverse October yet and we promise there is something for everyone. Here are just a few things happening at Fairplex this month:
Red Bull Straight Rhythm Motocross Racing: 32 motocross riders go head-to-head in this innovative evolution of Supercross. The track is essentially “unwound”: No turns, just a half-mile straight rhythm track. Extreme sports lovers will want to check out this event, happening Saturday, October 4th. Oktoberfest at Fairplex: The annual Oktoberfest celebrations begin October 10th! As usual, you can expect giant steins of craft beers, jolly oom pah pah music, massive crowds doing the Chicken Dance, tribute bands (DSB, anyone?) and bratwurst. Moon Block Party: Moon Block Party got its start in downtown Pomona and has grown both in size and popularity since its debut.
This one-day music festival includes stellar indie rock acts like Spoon, Band of Skulls and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Enjoy food, drinks and live music, October 18th!
Ramen Yokocho Festival: Noodle lovers of Los Angeles will want to make this a priority on October 18th. The Ramen Yokocho Festival is coming to Fairplex, and with it brings the return of the Ramen Burger, and expert Ramen chefs coming from Los Angeles and Japan. HARD Day of the Dead: Halloween weekend at Fairplex is going to be loud, colorful and tons of fun. HARD is bringing their annual Day of the Dead music festival to Fairplex and includes a strong EDM lineup with DJs like Zedd, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Deadmau5 and other artists for this two-day event.
