And just like that, October is over! We had so much fun at Oktoberfest, the RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns and all our other fantastic fall events, but we’re equally excited for what lies ahead! See which events are coming to Fairplex in November:
So Cal Maker Con (Nov 5): The Maker Movement returns to Fairplex this weekend! Amateurs, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, students and professionals alike will congregate together to talk all things design, innovation, tinkering and hacking. There will be plenty of inspiring exhibits to check out — more info at socalmakercon.com.
Fall in the Farm (Nov 5): We’re celebrating all things American agriculture at The Farm! Join us for rope making, hay baling, corn grinding, olive oil tasting and more on Saturday, Nov. 5 at The Farm at Fairplex! Admission and parking are FREE. More info available at fairplex.com.
Auto Club NHRA Finals (Nov 10-13): As is tradition, the Auto Club NHRA Finals are taking place at the historic Auto Club Raceway located on the west side of our campus. This “no-holds-barred” competition closes out the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, naming the 2016 world champions. See who wins the world titles for Top Fuel, Funny6 Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, right here at Fairplex! For more information, visit nhra.com.
Thanksgiving Dinner (Nov 24): McKinley’s Grille has prepared a delicious feast for their Thanksgiving guests! Roasted turkey, bourbon-savory giblet gravy, candied sweet potatoes, and the list goes on!

Everybody’s Bird Mart (Nov 27): Everyone’s favorite bird show returns to Fairplex on the last weekend of the month.
Enjoy the sight of colorful birds big and small, and shop for your own feathered friends’ favorite toys, treats, habitats, vitamins and more. For more info, visit fairplex.com.
Other events at Fairplex this month include the NHRA Museum’s Prolong Twilight Cruise, Pomona Home Improvement and Remodeling Show and Cal-Stewart Train Meet.
As usual, our events are quite diverse — something for everyone to enjoy. One of our top favorite things about working here is that every weekend is a little different than the last. We’re already looking forward to what 2017 has in store for all of you (but more on that later…) For now, enjoy November with us at Fairplex!
