The Asian American Expo is back at Fairplex in just a few weeks! After a successful year of hosting virtual events in 2021, the 2022 Asian American Expo will return to Fairplex on January 15 and 16! 📣 Be sure to save the date and gear up to kick off the Lunar New Year festivities with a celebration of the Year of the Tiger! Featuring over 1,000 vendors, 3 unique food pavilions and 10 different unique entertainment stages, Asian American Expo showcases the absolute best of Asian culture.

About Asian American Expo
Founded in 1982 as a means of gathering the local community together, Asian American Expo has seen many changes over the last 30 years. When it first launched, the event was called the Chinese American Expo, with only 60 exhibitors and the simple goal of bringing together local Asian businesses and consumers under one roof. From those humble beginnings, the Asian American Expo has expanded both its reach and its scale. Today, the Asian American Expo features seven large exhibition halls, over 1,000 vendors, nine non-stop performance stages and three distinctly unique food courts. Attendees from all different ethnic and work backgrounds, from both local and international, are bound to be at the Expo. The Asian American Expo is hosted at the beginning of each year to celebrate the coming of the Lunar New Year Festival, to recreate the New Year celebrations found across Asia at this time of the year. Food, shopping, entertainment and fun – these are all annual staples that can be found at each year’s event.
