Bubble Run 5K
Foam, bubbles and soap suds took over Fairplex Saturday morning during the Bubble Run 5K! Fun runs have been a regular occurrence here for several years, but the sight of thousands of guests running — whether through paint, powder, bubbles or beer — never gets old.
Palates & Palettes: Picasso
Our monthly wine & paint night was a blast! Our attendees learned to paint “Woman With A Flower” by Pablo Picasso. Of course, the painting lesson was accompanied by plenty of food and wine from Picasso’s homeland of Spain. All in all, a fantastic way to wrap up our Saturday.
Trains
Elsewhere on campus, the RailGiants Train Museum and the Fairplex Garden Railroad hosted their open houses over the weekend. Saturday was National Train Day and the RailGiants crew were out and about, sharing the histories of our historic steam engines with visitors.
Our Fairplex Garden Railroad team also opened their doors for train enthusiasts. The whole crew has been hard at work adding new scenes, refurbishing train tracks and getting ready for the summer.
