Tucked safely away from the rest of the campus in a tree-covered grove, our Child Development Center (CDC) is dedicated to working with children 12 weeks – kindergarten age in specially designed infant, toddler and preschool classrooms.
Curriculum is focused on developing the cognitive, language, social-emotional and physical aspects of each child’s well being. Activities include growing vegetables in their little garden, plenty of playground time, reading time and a number of other hands-on programs designated for “learning disguised as fun.”
It’s a common (and welcome!) sight to see a line of little ones walking through the campus on their daily walks. During the LA County Fair our staff takes the group on walking tours of the educational aspects of the Fair before the gates open to the public.
