In celebration of the Lunar New Year we are giving away a Family Four-Pack of tickets to the 33rd annual Asian American Expo at Fairplex!

A rich blend sights, sounds and smells will greet you as you enter our campus. Dancers, magicians, Taiko drummers, musical acts and martial art demonstrations fill the expo halls and outdoor walkways amid row upon row of specialty retail vendors and Asian foods.

The two-day celebration opens on Saturday, January 18th. For additional information on the event, visit www.asianamericanexpo.com

  1. I would love to win the tickets to the Expo. My son absolutely loves Japanese culture and this would be a good learning experience for him overall. Since I have never seen an eating contest in person I think that will be pretty funny! Thank you for offering this contest. I would otherwise not be able to attend. God bless you!

  4. I am mother to a 25 year old special needs son. He loves all things Asian! The Asian Expo is so fun with lots of inexpensive things to buy and all sorts of foods to taste. We also look forward to the LA Couty Fair!

  6. I am looking forward the the eating competition which will featuring different culinary foods from all over Asia along with the beautiful parade and awesome shows.   11. The Lion Dance! It’s amazing to watch generations do the acrobatic stunts.

  12. I cannot wait for the fair, my daughters birthday is in September and she always goes there to celebrate on the carnival rides. Happy memories. Also the Oktoberfest, I went there last year for the first time and I had a great time

  13. I usually look forward to the County Fair. Honestly, I didn’t know that there was an Asian American Expo held at the Fairgrounds. Even though my family is Filipino, my kids don’t get exposed much Asian culture. This is a perfect opportunity for them!!!

  16. I have two boys (one 14 and one four). My oldest son is 1/4 Japanese and my youngest half Filipeno. This would be the ideal time to expose them to their cultures. I’d love to expose my boys to any Japanese/Filipeno exhibits at this venue. At the moment they are most familiar with the food!
