There will be plenty of screaming at Finish Line Sports Grill this Saturday. That’s because the Kentucky Derby and the Mosley-Mayweather fight will both be playing on more than 70 flat screens. Add in some tasty food and a variety of drinks and you have one testosterone-filled sporting event.
The day begins bright and early, at 7 a.m., for those wanting to wager and get a good seat for the 136th running of the most exciting two minutes in sports. Try a mint julep and sing your own version of “My Old Kentucky Home” before the race begins.
Pomona’s own Shane Mosley steps into the ring with Floyd Mayweather for the welterweight title, which Finish Line will show live from Las Vegas. Boxing action begins at 6 p.m. There is a $15 cover charge for the fight.
