What a fantastic weekend of learning! This Saturday was full of agriculture, art and innovation in nearly every corner of Fairplex. Check it out:
Fall in the Farm: We partnered with local businesses, school groups and non-profits this weekend for an agricultural celebration at The Farm.
Nearly 1,000 guests joined us for a day of hay baling, rope making, corn grinding, stick horse races, olive oil tasting, gardening workshops and more, all centered around the American agriculture industry.
Special thanks to our volunteers, staff and local partners for making this awesome event happen! We look forward to more events like these in the very near future 🙂
Plein Air Perspective Opening: As the sun set, the Millard Sheets Art Center came to life with the opening reception of the Plein Air Perspective gallery.

If you attended the Fair this year, you might have spotted an artist or two around the grounds capturing the colorful atmosphere of the Fair on canvas — plein air painting, or “painting what you see.”

These artists, along with others in the community, have contributed their plein air work to the art exhibit in partnership with the California Art Club. Thank you to the patrons of the arts who joined us for our opening reception! We look forward to seeing more visitors throughout the month.
So Cal Maker Con: Last but not least, So Cal Maker Con returned to Fairplex on Saturday with drone races, 3D printers, storm troopers, dinosaurs and all other manner of innovative objects.
That Drone Show hosts a series of indoor drone races at Fairplex.
