It’s going to be another warm weekend at Fairplex, but thankfully most of our events are in the evening when we finally get to experience a little fall weather. It’s going to be busy over here and we can’t wait! Keep reading for this week’s edition of the L.A. Weekender:
Oktoberfest at Fairplex: Oktoberfest 2014 opens tonight and will run every Friday-Sunday from now to October 27th. Stop by for some beer (in giant steins, of course), bratwurst and lively renditions of the Chicken Dance. If you tire of oom-pah-pah, we also have fabulous tribute bands playing on our outdoor stage, starting this weekend with DSB (Journey cover band.) Prost! www.oktoberfestatfairplex.com.
Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival: The Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival at Fairplex wraps up tomorrow. We recommend our crafty and creative readres to stop by from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for free seminars and workshops and check out the latest machines and supplies for quilting, embossing, needle art and other crafty activities.
