Pomona Beautification Day: Join us this Saturday for the 8th annual Pomona Beautification Day! Individuals, families and groups gather together to clean up the city and finish with a celebration at Fairplex noon – 3 p.m. Serve the community in the morning, then feast on burgers and musical entertainment afterwards. (P.S. All registered volunteers receive L.A. County Fair tickets!) For more information, click here. We would love to see you!

National Pro Fitness Competition: The National Pro Fitness League is coming to Fairplex this Saturday for Combines. Athletes demonstrate their unique skills and strengths in hopes of being selected for a National Pro team. Tickets are $10 per day or $20 for all three days. Children 12 and younger are free. For more information click here.

Dodgers Opening Day: It’s the Dodgers vs. the Giants for Opening Day at Dodger Stadium. If you’re lucky, you were able to grab tickets before they all sold out. If not, you might have to leave work early and hightail it over to Buffalo Wild Wings/your favorite sports bar to watch the beginning of what could be a very exciting season. The game starts at 1 p.m.

CicLAvia: CicLAvia is back for another round of biking/walking/skating this Sunday, April 6. Take advantage of a car-free Wilshire Boulevard and absorb the unique architecture of downtown L.A. and the Miracle Mile. Cultural activities will be featured along Museum Row from institutions like LACMA, the Craft and Folk Art Museum and the Page Museum. CicLAvia runs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, click here.
