We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out for IrishFest at Fairplex this year! We are still seeing green from all the weekend festivities.
Classic Irish tunes echoed from the Dublin stage through the massive dining hall. Guests danced and dined beneath banners that proudly displayed Ireland’s colors. Kids entered into an Irish fairy tale as they stepped into “Kids Castle” where they made Irish crafts, met medieval knights and princesses and learned to dance the ‘Irish Stew.” Carnival rides, games and balloon artists kept the entertainment level on high for all ages.
Adults could try a wide variety of craft beer, chow down on baked potatoes, shepherd’s pie and steak fries and listen to the sounds of Irish favorites like The Fenians and Joshua Tree (U2 tribute band) on the Killarney Stage in the plaza area.
