Fall in The Farm — our celebration of all things American agriculture — has expanded rapidly over the past few years.
During our first year, we had a handful of chicks and 2-3 rabbits who called The Farm home. Now our farm family has grown to take over several of the old horse barns, and includes turkeys, turkens, chicks, hens and dozens of rabbits, not to mention koi fish and turtles in our above-ground pond.
New activities included cow milking demonstrations, a turkey calling contest and beer brewing. We also saw the return of gardening workshops, rope making, corn grinding, healthy cooking demos, tours of our Farm, and a number of interactive exhibits thanks to our community partners.
All in all, it was an incredibly successful event, and we look forward to meeting more of our surrounding neighbors in the future!
