The seniors in our Junior Fair Board Leadership program are only a month away from graduation and we couldn’t be more proud! Our seniors entered the program as sophomores and have spent two years giving invaluable hours of their time to helping the local community.
Junior Fair Board Seniors, Class of 2012 & 2013
Junior Fair Board students walk away with a wealth of business understanding, leadership skills, networking ability and above all, community involvement. We are proud to help these bright students throughout high school and know they will go far in the future.
We asked students about their experience on the Junior Fair Board and how they will use the skills they learned. Here are some of their answers:
- “The Junior Fair Board taught me the importance of helping the community. I will continue my involvement in community service and bring the communication skills I have aquired to all aspects of college.” -Haley Colpen, San Dimas High School senior
- “I plan on using the skills I learned from JFB to meet new people and stay motivated in college. JFB also taught me how to properly manage my time and be successful in every aspect of my life.” – Kourtney Hayhurst, Don Lugo High School senior
Congratulations to all of our seniors who will be furthering their educations in the fall at colleges throughout the U.S. including UC Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania and UC San Diego.
