One of our restaurants, Finish Line Sports Bar & Grill, is getting a makeover and we couldn’t be more excited. Not only is the layout of the restaurant changing, but the menu is being redone too. And it’s delicious.
We did a taste test a couple weeks ago, previewing the new gourmet burgers, appetizers and desserts. Keep reading for a look at some of our favs:
Appetizers
Beer Cheese Tater Tots
Equal parts deep-fried crunch and gooey, savory cheese, paired with a healthy helping of bacon and chili con carna, we’ve decided the beer cheese tater tots are the ultimate pre-game indulgence. Easily one of our favorites.
Game Time Fries
Nothing says “I’m here for the game” like this dish. Fries doused in smoked pastrami, beer cheese sauce and bacon ranch dressing? Yes. Please.
Bacon Bleu Cheese Guacamole
So at first read, bleu cheese and guacamole doesn’t sound like the tastiest thing in the world… but it’s actually quite delicious! The flavors blend well together and go perfectly with the bacon bits.
Signature Burgers
We’re not saying we’re better than In n’ Out … but when we took our first bite of our signature burger, the thought definitely came to mind.
We’re pretty big fans of the house sauce, not to mention how big the burger is!
Cowboy Burger
All the new gourmet burgers are decadent, but if we had to choose one of the most savory, juicy menu items, this would be it.
½ pound beef patty, apple wood smoked bacon, aged cheddar cheese, beer battered onion rings, bbq sauce and pickle chips, on a brioche bun… Burger heaven.
Herb-Seasoned Turkey Burger Sometimes turkey burgers can be a bit dry and chewy. Not the case with this one! The Finish Line herb seasoned turkey burger blends spices and a perfectly grilled patty together for a satisfying meal. (And the added bacon and smoked gouda aren’t half bad either.)
Desserts
Brownie Sundae
There’s chocolate. Then there’s chocolate and caramel. But then there’s chocolate, peanut butter AND caramel. And that’s what the Brownie Sunday is. We’re already planning a trip back, specifically for this dessert.
Big enough to share with three of your friends, we give this one a 10/10.
The new menu is live as of last Thursday and we plan on spending a lunch hour in the near future here!
