Fairplex is going to be packed with activities this month. From IrishFest to the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals we have something for everybody to enjoy. Keep reading to see what some of our biggest March events are:
IrishFest: IrishFest finally opens this weekend! Come try our selection of craft beers and hearty buffet spread while listening to Irish rock, Celtic groups and our favorite tribute bands. Bring the kids for some carnival games and prizes, crafts and Irish culture. There’s something for everyone and we would love for you to be a part of it. ArtReach: The Art of Pop Culture: The third annual ArtReach is opening at the Millard Sheets Art Center on Friday, March 7 and runs through Friday, March 21.
Come see the talented work of more than 100 regional high schools, inspired by popular culture and how their everyday practices influence their values, sense of identity and behaviors. Art pieces include paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography and film. For more information visit the ArtReach event page.
Tap ‘N’ Run 4k: Burn some calories, chug some calories and do it at the same time. The Tap ‘N’ Run 4k is coming to Fairplex on Saturday, March 15th for some fun times. Run the 2.5 mile race course and stop at multiple ‘chug stations’ along the way. Beer, endorphins and an afternoon in the California sun sounds like an ideal day to us! Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals: Gear up for a celebration of horsepower and torque when the O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine & Muscle Car Nationals rolls into Fairplex.
This national celebration of horsepower & torque will fill the Fairplex campus with more than 1,000 high-performance muscle cars, pro-touring cars and street machines from across the country. Adult tickets are $18, ages 6-12 $5 and ages 6 and under are free. For more information visit our events page.
