ArtReach: The Art of Pop Culture is coming to the Millard Sheets Arts Center at Fairplex next month. ArtReach features the artistic talents of regional high school students and brings the community together to celebrate the accomplishments of each individual artist.
Claremont students share their ArtReach submissions
Sculptures, paintings, film, photography and myriad other art forms are displayed throughout the gallery, all commenting on the various aspects of pop culture.
As a part of The Learning Centers at Fairplex, ArtReach relies heavily on volunteers to make the show a success. For this week’s Thoughtful Thursday we wanted to give a huge shout-out to all of the people in our community who have taken time out of their busy lives to help with this endeavor.
Our volunteers do everything from installing art pieces to greeting visitors and leading discussions about artworks during student field trips. They are an essential part of this project and we couldn’t do it without them!
If you are interested in volunteering with ArtReach: The Art of Pop Culture, please call us at (909) 865-4075. We would love to have you join the Fairplex family!
