A Spitacular Competition!
For three days, our judges swirled, sniffed and spit their way through more than 3,500 wines from around the globe. Today they wrapped up by choosing the best of the best in each category. Wow!! I never thought spitting could be so funny, I’ve seen baseball players do it but when wine judges do it it’s a lot more amusing for some reason.

sorry it took so long to reply – problems with technology! We hold off on releasing the winners until our annual wine gala Wine & Cars Under the Stars. This year we held a media wine tasting event (with our medal winners) on June 18, with public release of the results on June 19 (Wine & Cars was June 20). Wine & Cars is the first opportunity for the public to taste the winners!
