Dog Day Afternoon at the Race Track

It was dog-eat-dog at Fairplex Park today as seven of the fastest dachshunds in SoCal vied for Top Dog in the 3rd annual Wiener Dog races. With tiny legs pumpin’ and dirt flyin’, these hot dogs ran as fast as they could across a portion of the race track. You know those horses were hanging by the rails going, “Really? Really?”
In the end, Presley from Placentia took home the trophy and $600! She likes to boogie board in the pool in her spare time and her favorite song is Hound Dog. Of course. Check out the race, then the big interview:
