It was cupcake madness in Culinary Styles yesterday as the Cupcake competition drew a slew of contestants with mounds of luscious mini-cakes in all flavors and levels of decor. But it was an old favorite that stole the judges’ hearts – or is that palates? Virginia Joines of La Verne took first place with her S’mores cupcakes, which oozed with marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. Heavenly!
In second place was Sandy Williams of Rancho Cucamonga with her Cinnamon Twist cupcakes. And in third place, George Armetta of West Hollywood with his Pink Lemonade cupcakes that looked too cute to eat. Congrats to all the winners.
