Opening Weekend Shout-Out: Crafter's Village

August 16, 2012

The Fair is almost upon us! Soon the grounds will be filled with guests enjoying the carnival rides, food competitions, concerts and a wonderful mixture of fun! Today we want to give our readers an inside look at Crafter’s Village.
Located just across from Pets Ahoy, Crafter’s Village is a colorful combination of clothing, household items, jewelry and decor. Guests will find themselves surrounded by wares made by the most skillful of hands. Everything in Crafter’s Village is handmade, from quilts to clothing to goat’s milk soap, and the creativity level is on high.
Many vendors sell their wares on Etsy, the online marketplace for all things handmade and original. The Village is a great way to get a first-hand look at their online goods. Crafter’s Village will have foodie t-shirts, metal art, steam punk jewelry, aprons, corsets, pillowcase dresses and many more fun items.
For all our crafty, artsy and innovative guests, this is a good place to get inspired, find one-of-a-kind pieces and make memories at the Fair.
