We pride ourselves on our diverse exhibits — from agriculture to sports, and dinosaurs to giraffes, we have something for everyone, including train enthusiasts.
What started as a small exhibit at the LA County Fair in 1924 has transformed into a large permanent exhibit at Fairplex. The Fairplex Garden Railroad, now open both day and night at the Fair, depicts various landscapes, from the mountains to the seaside, and even Pomona itself. Take a look:
While our miniature trains are busily running near the shopping halls, our much larger historic steam engines are proudly displayed on the other side of the Fair, at our RailGiants Train Museum.
Guests young and old are invited to climb and explore the many steam engines here, while our docents are available to answer any questions and share the history of these beautiful vehicles.
All aboard!
