Plaza de las Americas is by far one of my favorite places to visit when I come to the LA County Fair. Despite what the weather may be, our guests always seem to be up for music, dancing, and shopping.
If you don’t believe me, I dare you to come over to the Fair and see what I am talking about! I bet you won’t be able to resist the music and the URGE to dance.
From the time the Fair opens to the time the Fair closes, there is always some kind of music playing on this side of the grounds. Although it varies, on any give day you could find a live mariachi, trio, or folklorico dancers. All of our artists have a specific genre and enjoy introducing their art to new people.
Speaking of new people, here at the LA County Fair we love diversity, which is why we have representatives from various Latin American countries such as: Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and many more!
Although their menu consists of more than 20 delicious dishes, I usually stick to flame broiled chicken, rice, and beans. If you just ate, then get yourself a raspado (shaved ice) and maintain yourself hydrated.
One final thought…if you are here in the evening, then stop by Grinding Gears for some amazing music and fun! #DARETOFAIR
