The Fair is known for its many unique and delicious combinations of food. But when we walked by the sign with the giant chocolate dipped pickle, we were more than intrigued. The great guys over at the ice cream and dessert stand over by Surrounded by Science gave us a taste. The verdict: interesting for sure! It’s got a great chocolate flavor and then a burst of very tangy, very salty pickle. If you are a connoisseur of the weird and wacky fair foods, you’ve definitely got to try this one. They’ve also got a “breakfast shake” with bacon, caramel and ice cream. And if you maybe aren’t so brave, they’ve got just regular pickles, soft serve and some amazing waffle cones.
