At its core, the Fair is all about community. Without it, we wouldn’t be LACF.
Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, staff members, and guests, we were able to provide food, school supplies, learning experiences and so much more, to families throughout Los Angeles County.
Check out the infographic below for a full break down of our community efforts this year, and thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s giving back efforts! We truly could not do it without you!
We have had an amazing Fair experience and we hope you feel the same! Thank you to all our readers for checking in with us and sharing in our adventures. Don’t forget to share your photos with us on social media using #LACFNaturalHigh! You guys rock
T-minus 3 hours until the 2015 LA County Fair comes to a close! It has gone by in the blink of an eye and we have truly loved every second of it. We are celebrating by watching our last Fair sunset and indulging in our favorite food on a stick.

It’s coming from Thunder Alley, sponsored by the NHRA Motorsports Museum, and back by popular demand!
If you love anything fuel injected, engine exposed, or are just into gorgeous classic style cars, why are you still reading this? Owners and former racers bring their babies for you to see and marvel at.
Have a seat in the helicopter on display at the Air Force Flight Museum, and gawk or gaze in wonder at the other machinery and flying marvels they’ve brought for you to see. Don’t worry….nothing is armed!
Marvel at the dragsters, both the ones for adults, and those made for children! I have to admit, the thought that 10-year-olds are going up to 85 miles per hour makes me wonder what I’ve been doing with my life!
Other exhibits include military vehicles, Drag safaris, trucks, and even boats!
Remember, Thunder Alley drives off into the sunset on our last day, September 27th. Speed (not really!) on down before they’re gone!!
We hit you Opening Weekend with a deep-fried extravaganza (which we’re still recovering from, by the way). On Week Two, we went gourmet with a meal at Maria’s Italian Kitchen and visit to Terri’s Berries. And last Friday, we dove into a full on sugar coma when we sampled anything and everything sweet at LACF.
Now that we’ve had a little bit of everything, we’re ready to reveal our top three FAVORITE dishes we’ve tried this year.
Fair Food Friday: The Final Round-Up
1. The Gelato Churro Sandwich
Three words: cinnamon, vanilla and sprinkles. Need we say more? We’re crossing our fingers that these delicious treats will make their way back to us next year.
A Fair classic and must-eat on our list. Tasti Chips are by far one of our favorite things to munch on, whether it’s matched with jalapenos, cheese, or plain. So much yum.
3. Thai Food
Believe it or not, one of our go-to dinners is the Thai food stand, specifically their garlic chicken, pad thai and veggie combo. It’s filling, delicious, and a nice break from our usual deep-fried Oreos and Chick On A Stick fare.

Open Class (Any size, puts band in the running for the Grand Prizes):
The sun is out, the sky is clear and we’re just getting the party started here at the LA County Fair!
Sure, we know weather has not been great these past two days, but that doesn’t mean we cant beat the heat once at the Fair. Trust us – we’re experts at keeping cool.
One of our favorite things to do when it’s this hot is to hang out at the Wine, Beer and Spirits Marketplace. I mean, how could someone not like this place? There’s A/C, good food, good company and REALLY good drinks!
We have a winner! Congratulations to Jennifer Hall! Jennifer loves our emoji pillows, jewelry and bed!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our contest! Don’t forget to follow/like us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter for more giveaways! #LACFNaturalHigh _________________________________________________________________________
Let’s be honest for a second, yeah?
I love shopping. You love shopping. We all love shopping!
So, if that’s the case, why not come to the LA County Fair and do all of your shopping in ONE place? Forget about going to multiple stores like we usually do when we’re looking for last minute gifts… we really do have everything you need!
In addition to all of the outside vendors, we also have four large shopping centers that include: Buildings 4, 6, 7 and 9. There, you will find dozens of booths to look at, things to taste, clothes to admire, and jewelry to try on. We like to think of it as our Shopping Wonderland!
Earlier this week, we walked through our shopping buildings to see what kinds of products were available to you, and boy were we surprised at all of the options. During our walk, we saw a lot of C R A Z Y F A B U L O U S things, but we decided to focus on clothing, accessories, household items and toys – you know, the top 4 products that you, our Fair guests, have asked to see in our buildings year after year.
