Like most traditions, this Fair food staple has evolved and grown bigger over the years. What used to be a simple deep-fried treat with powered sugar sprinkled on top has turned into a decadent sugar-infested bonanza.<br \/>\nLast night I tried the Fair&#8217;s version of the funnel cake: battered doughy yum with whipped cream, strawberries, powdered sugar and a towering dollop of vanilla ice cream in the center of it all.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Exhibit A:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/ed-t2fnBu0\/embed\/\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"612\" height=\"710\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nI&#8217;m still recovering from the sugar overload but if you still can&#8217;t get enough of the Fair food, you can enter our Fair Food Friday giveaway \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nOne winner will receive 4 Fair tickets and 4 Hot Blog On A Stick tees!
