Get in for $20 and an unlimited carnival ride wristband. At <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2011\/planyourvisit\/promotions.asp#mcdonaldswed\" target=\"_blank\">participating McDonald&#8217;s.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Book Drive Thursday:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2011\/planyourvisit\/promotions.asp#bookdrive\" target=\"_blank\">Bring new or gently used book to the Fair by 6pm and get in free!<\/a> The books will go to community groups.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ralphs Canned Food Drive Friday:<\/strong> Bring five private label <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2011\/planyourvisit\/promotions.asp#fooddrive\" target=\"_blank\">Ralphs canned goods by 6pm<\/a> and get in free to the Fair!<\/li>\n<li><strong>LIVESTRONG Day Sunday, Oct. 2:<\/strong> Our closing day is part of larger day of global action raising awareness and fighting cancer. Wear yellow and support <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2011\/planyourvisit\/promotions.asp#livestrong\" target=\"_blank\">LIVE STRONG<\/a> day at the Fair. You&#8217;ll get in for $10 (with a coupon) and $1 will go to cancer research.
