Actually their guacamole and salsa dips seriously.<br \/>\nPeggy Linberg of Upland won first place for the 2010 Perfect Guacamole contest with her Cobb-amole, a recipe\u00a0incorporating the best parts of the classic Cobb Salad \u2013 crumbled bleu cheese, bacon and sour cream \u2013 into a chopped avocado mixture. Yum!<br \/>\nSecond place in the guacamole category was won by Gayle Bauer of La Verne with her Guac Your World Guacamole that featured her own Fresh and Easy Salsa (Pico de Gallo) along with cilantro.<br \/>\nApril Burton of\u00a0Rowland Heights\u00a0named her third-place winner Guacamole a la Mom that had flavors of a roasted serrano chile. Any Mom would be proud.<br \/>\nTomatillos, serrano and habanero chiles were the stars of the first place winner for Best Salsa \u2013 Steve\u2019s Super Salsa created by Steve Motisi of Claremont.<br \/>\nIt was truly Salsa Deliciosa for second place Salsa winner Anna Marie Martinet of Pico Rivera. Roasted anaheim, yellow, serrano chiles and chile arbol gave this salsa a memorable flavor.<br \/>\nThird-place Salsa winner Teri Siciliano of Brea called her salsa Cowboy Caviar. The \u201ccaviar\u201d combined white corn, black-eyed peas, black beans, white beans with jalapeno, serrano, yellow wax and habanero chiles.<br \/>\nYou, too, can join all the cooking competitions at next year&#8217;s Fair.
