Tomorrow is the Big Day!! It never fails to amaze me, the feeling I get when I drive down White and McKinley avenues adjacent to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairplex.com\/fp\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Fairplex<\/span><\/a> the day before the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/index.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Fair<\/span><\/a> opens every year (and every year I say, &#8220;Wow, didn&#8217;t we just do this yesterday?&#8221;) &#8211; it truly is amazing how quickly the grounds fill up with booths, tents, flags, signs, huge rides! The 86th anniversary of the L.A. County Fair has arrived. It is going to be spectacular, but don&#8217;t take my word for it! Come out and see for yourself.<br \/>\nWe open tomorrow at 11 a.m. Admission is only $1 until 5 p.m. There is so much to see: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/BarkPark.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Bark Park<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/FairViewFarms.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">FairView Farms<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/homegardens.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Flower &amp; Garden Pavilion <\/span><\/a>with a volcano that erupts every 15 minutes (see photo of Mt. Fairplexatoa being installed), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/AmericasKids.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">America&#8217;s Kids<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/PiratesLife.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A Pirate&#8217;s Life<\/span><\/a>. And there is so much to eat &#8211; deep-fried White Castles, Tasty Chips, gourmet cup cakes and, finally HOT DOG ON A STICK!!!!
