County Fair fans, we are\u00a0seven days out!! Wow, the summer went by fast. Although school is back in session, around here it&#8217;s still summer to us and we think you need a little Fair-cation. Before the fun of 18 days of the Fair begins, we hold a little shindig the night before we call the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairplex.com\/fp\/calendar\/PremiereParty\/index.html\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Premiere Party<\/span><\/a>.<br \/>\nEach year on the night before opening day, the Fair holds a snappy gala that benefits the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairplex.com\/fp\/Foundations\/index.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Fairplex Education Foundation,<\/span><\/a> one of four non-profit foundations at Fairplex. The party is held in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacountyfair.com\/2008\/AttractionsCompetitions\/homegardens.asp\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Flower &amp; Garden Pavilion<\/span><\/a>, which this year is themed &#8220;Escape to Hawaii &#8211; An Enchanted Island Experience&#8221; &#8211; complete with an erupting volcano! There are fancy drinks with little umbrellas and lots of delectable edibles. Honorees of this year&#8217;s Premiere Party are Ann and Stephen Morgan. The Morgans are big supporters of the Fair. Dr. Morgan is a past chairman of the Los Angeles County Fair Association and is also the president of the University of La Verne.<br \/>\nTickets can be purchased online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairplex.com\/fp\/calendar\/PremiereParty\/index.html\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">here<\/span><\/a>.
