Cotton-Candy Grapes?

We’ve heard of everything at the Fair … bacon-wrapped jalapenos, maple bacon donuts, deep-fried Kool-Aid (and cereal, Oreos etc.) But even we were a little surprised to hear about Cotton-Candy grapes.
These little novelties are all-natural, actual grapes. They just happen to taste like cotton candy. Apparently the sweet flavor was born from cross-pollinating wild grape species. The harvest comes from Grapery. The grapes are seedless and quite juicy. According to Grapery’s website, participants of blind taste testings believed they were eating some form of cotton candy.
We have enough cotton candy at the Fair to create pink, wispy mountains. I wonder if cotton-candy grapes will be on next year’s list of food novelties…
