Live Racing Promotions: Dates to Remember

• Opening Day $1 Fair Admission – Meet and greet jockeys and trainers at the Tailgate Party at the Paddock, 11 a.m., September 5.
  

• Opening Weekend Baseball Cap Giveaway sponsored by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino – Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7. The first 5,000 patrons each day starting at 3 p.m. Redeem your admission coupon to recieve one.

• Wiener Dog Racing – Sunday, September 14. Up to eight qualifying heats between horse races with the final after the 11th horse race. Up to $5,000 in prizes up for grabs to the “Wiener” of the Races: $200 for each heat winner, $1,500 to the winner of the final, $1,000 to second, $600 to third, $350 to fourth, $200 to fifth, $150 to sixth, and $100 each to the seventh and eighth-place finishers. • California Classics Day Sunday, Sept. 21 - Celebrate 70 years of horse racing at Fairplex Park with a day devoted to the stars of Fairplex Park. Four Stakes races for more seasoned horses highlight the day along with a Classic Car Show and Classic Rock to boot. The first 3,000 fans will receive a classic ringer T-shirt after 3 p.m. Redeem proof of admission coupon distributed at Laser Gate for a free tee.

Ongoing Fair Promotions

• PFF Bank & Trust Season Fun Pass – Patrons can receive a season pass to the 2007 L.A. County Fair by stopping by any PFF branch and purchasing the pass for $44.95 – a $211 value!

• Gordon Jones Better Bettors’ Forum – Everyday during the 16-day live race meet, renowned handicapper Gordon Jones will be at Fairplex to educate and entertain fans.

• San Manuel Promotion Booth and Giveaway - San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino will have a booth at the west entrance to the racetrack where fans can participate in mini-games and win prizes.

• Mondays are Fan Appreciation Days – Admission, parking, and programs are free. Also, receive discounts on popcorn, hot dogs, and soft drinks.

• Wednesdays Bingo Bash sponsored by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino – San Dimas Knights charity Bingo on Clubhouse floor 1 during the hours of live racing.
• “Pick 3 for a TV” Thursdays – Enter on Thursdays by picking one winning horse for each race, races 1-9. Those who pick three winners out of the nine races will be eligible for a drawing after the 10th race for a 42” LCD television. The person(s) who pick the most winners in those nine races will share $1,000 cash.

• Fridays Budweiser Beer Jockey – The popular promotion is back! One jockey will be selected each Friday. Every time that jockey wins a race, a specially-sized draft Budweiser beer will go on sale at a reduced price after the race is official and until the next race.

• Fridays NTRA Handicapping Mini-Tournaments (SOLD OUT)- September 12 and 19 only. Limited to fifty players on Clubhouse floor 3 during the hours of live racing. The top three players each day will receive a berth in the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) at the Red Rock Casino, Resort, and Spa in Las Vegas in January, 2009. • Weekends NTRA Handicapping Contest – On each day, Saturdays and Sundays, 165 entrants participate for prize money and qualifying spots into the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) at the Red Rock Casino, Resort, and Spa in Las Vegas in January, 2009.
