This past weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating our youngest Fairplex friends at the Child Development Center at Fairplex graduation ceremony!
We said goodbye to the class of 2017 and wished these little kindergarteners and preschoolers a wonderful year of learning as they move up a grade.
We also had the opportunity to celebrate our teachers and staff, who work tirelessly all year long to provide a clean, safe and stimulating fun learning environment.
Congratulations to all for a successful year! To learn more about the Child Developmeknt Center, click here.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and our Child Development Center is going all out for our wonderful staff. The theme is Rainbow of Appreciation.
Students created rainbows to hang in the playground area
Our students have been wearing a different color of the rainbow each day and doing an Appreciation activity with their teachers, such as bringing flowers, donating books or simply wearing the color of the day! Thank you to all our amazing teachers and the effort you put into educating young minds. You’re impacting lives every single day!

The Fairplex Child Development Center became the proud owner of a brand new sign yesterday morning!
After a lot of planning and hard work, our center can now be easily identified as people drive up and down McKinley Ave.
In case you are not familiar with our Fairplex CDC, we serve children from twelve weeks to kindergarten age, and our curriculum focuses on a child’s four primary developmental domains: cognitive, language, social-emotional and physical. Our staff emphasizes first-hand experiences in play, oral language, listening, books and phonemic awareness. Since the center is adjacent to the grounds of the nation’s largest county fair, children have the opportunity to have amazing hands-on educational experiences that cannot be taught in a classroom.
