Fairplex Events Cheersmichaeljordan 225x300 Fairplex Weekend Recap: Wine, birds and a relay Cheers: LA’s Wine, Spirits, Beer & Food Festival
Our annual fundraiser for The Learning Centers at Fairplex was this Saturday evening out at The Farm!

Guests took their time tasting the various wines, spirits and beers from the Los Angeles International Competitions from earlier this year.

Guests learned how to make craft cocktails from a mixologist, dined on food truck fare, both savory and sweet, and hit the dance floor once the sun went down.

Our silent auction, which also benefits The Learning Centers at Fairplex, had some great items up for bid.

All in all, we had a great time and we look forward to hosting again next year!

Our personal favorite? The Pygmy goats!

Thanks to the help of our Fairplex Ambassadors, many community partners, staff and friends, the event was a success. We can’t think of a better way to start off Spring 2016 at The Farm.

We transformed our campus into a truly Celtic world, including an enchanted Shire of forest animals, a raucous dining hall of Celtic music and dance, and plenty of sheep herding, jousting, storytelling, crafting and shopping galore.

We were a little sad to see it all come to an end as our grounds return to normal today… but of course, there’s always the next event to look forward to icon smile Fairplex Weekend Recap: From Farm to Faire

Things have finally quieted down at Fairplex after a full weekend of concerts, food, drinks and dancing. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick of the first weekend of summer!

It was hot, crowded and loud at Fairplex on Friday. Tons of rock music lovers turned out for a full day of bands like We The Kings, Yellowcard, Devil Wears Prada, Falling In Reverse and myriad others. Band meet & greets, food trucks, a giant slip n’ slide, clothing vendors and DJs rounded out a perfect afternoon and evening of fun in the sun. You can watch behind-the-scenes videos and other fun goodies on

Cheers – L.A.’s Wine, Spirits, Beer & Food Festival

Cheers – L.A.’s Wine, Spirits, Beer & Food Festival

As the sun set behind the San Gabriel mountains, Fairplex came alive with music, dancing, clinking glasses and a tantalizing array of food trucks. Guests spent the summer solstice sampling a seemingly endless supply of award-winning wines, spirits and beers from the Los Angeles International Competitions, participate in a silent auction benefiting The Learning Centers at Fairplex and dance their way through the Cupid Shuffle, salsa, Top 40 and other fun tunes. All in all, a success!

Everybody’s Birdmart

Everybody’s Birdmart

Bird lovers flocked together for an afternoon perusing cages, nests, vitamins, toys, treats and other fun items for their pets. It’s always fun to see the exotic birds on display and to learn exactly how many toys birds can possibly own, treats they like to devour and habitats they live in.

Things are going to be fairly quiet around here this week but our annual 4th of July event, KABOOM! is just around the corner. We’re ready for a night full of monster trucks, motocross and one of the largest fireworks spectaculars in all of California.

Happy Monday!
