Imagine clear skies and bright smiling faces in the outdoors. We promise you that this month will be filled with activities for the whole family! Summer is in the air and we love this time of year.

Plus! One of our favorite events is happening soon! We invite you to join us on June 23rd for a night of festivities, friends, family, and the best wine all set in the rustic backdrop of five-acre Farm at Fairplex. For over a decade, Cheers has been a celebration of the award-winning wine, spirits, beer, and extra virgin olive oils from the Los Angeles International Competitions. Cheers brings the best producers and artisans to pour for an audience of veteran and amateur tasters alike. Best of all? All proceeds support the Learning Centers at Fairplex, an organization that provides a wide spectrum of innovative and enriching educational experiences that bring learning to life, benefit our diverse communities, and prepare participants for success.

Speaking of community support, we pride ourselves on being a regional economic engine goal. A part of this involves strengthening our local economy by providing employment opportunities. We are looking to fill more than 700 seasonal positions for the 2018 LA County Fair! We are hiring in admissions, credentials, guest relations, parking, carnival, facilities, creative, and much more! Belmont Stakes- (June 9)

Join the fun as we watch the famous horse races at Finish Line Sports Bar & Grill from 7am – 6pm on Saturday June 9th. The Belmont Stakes is an American Grade I stakes Thoroughbred horse race held every June at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. It is a 1.5-mile-long (2.4 km) horse race, open to three-year-old Thoroughbreds. Colts and geldings carry a weight of 126 pounds (57 kg); fillies carry 121 pounds (55 kg).Visit here for directions and more information.

The Farm at Fairplex Dinner- (June 15)

This unique dining experience invites you to indulge in an evening of delectable food and drink, prepared and served al fresco at The Farm at Fairplex. Each dinner includes vegetables, fruits and herbs gathered fresh from our crops for an authentic farm-to-table experience.  54th Annual Roadsters Show- (June 15-16)

If you do not have any plans yet for Father’s Day Weekend bring dad and the family to the greatest Roadster show in the world! There will be hundreds of 1936 and older open cars of all types and makes; a huge swap meet and trade show, food & fun. This year’s show will be held Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. Vans Warped Tour 2018- (June 21)

Keep the festivities going by attending this eclectic one-day music festival featuring bands performing non-stop on multiple stages. Event is from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Tickets available in person at the Glass House Record Store during normal business hours (payment via cash only). Day of show tickets are available at the venue box office. Visit the website for tickets and line up.
