National Ag Day recognizes and celebrates the abundance provided by American agriculture and if you’ve ever visited our Farm you know we are all about ag!
Every spring, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and others across the country join together in a day of appreciation for the agriculture in our nation.
We at Fairplex are proud to have a part in the history and future of American ag. Thanks to the hard work of our staff and volunteers, our five-acre urban farm is home to numerous California specialty crops, animals, educational programs and field trips and other agricultural projects.
We’ll be celebrating this weekend at our community-centered Spring in The Farm event but for today, here’s a few photos of life in The Farm at Fairplex:
