As California residents, we welcome rain in any amount, at any time! That being said, there are plenty of things to enjoy in L.A. this weekend, rain or shine.

The Dog Cafe (Now Open): What better way to spend a rainy weekend than in a warm cafe, sipping coffee and cuddling with dogs? (Answer: There is no better way.) The Dog Cafe — the first to hit the United States — opened Thursday in Silver Lake. More info here.

Renaissance Pleasure Faire (April 9 – May 23): The Renaissance Faire returns to Irwindale this spring for much feasting, drinking and celebrating of an era long gone. Tickets, programming and additional info available here.

Hot Tub & SwimSpa Show (April 8 – April 10): The Hot Tub & SwimSpa Show returns to Fairplex this weekend as your one-stop shop for spas and jacuzzis. There’s no better time than now to get ready for the warm summer months! More info here.

BT5K Run & Walk (April 9): Also at Fairplex, the Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K is this Saturday. Proceeds go towards brain tumor/cancer research and patient programs. We love events with a cause and this one is fantastic. To register or learn more, click here.

Fairplex Garden Railroad (April 10): The Fairplex Garden Railroad is one of the oldest and possibly largest miniature railroads in the world! The railroad is open to the public this Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Parking is free at Gate 1! For more information visit fgrr.org.
