TLC visits Vegas

November 11, 2014

Vegas, baby.

Our CTEC Auto 103 class had the opportunity to attend the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas last week to present a one-of-a-kind Jeep Wrangler JK Sport they assembled as part of their CTEC classwork.

The 4×4 is perfect for off-road terrain and was assembled at the SEMA Garage in Diamond Bar, CA. The Auto 103 class is under the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts (AXC) at Fairplex.

The Jeep will be auctioned off in support of the SEMA Cares charity program with funds going back to AXC, Childhelp and Victory Junction.

We had a blast watching our students show off their hard work, experience the SEMA Show and delve further into the automotive industry with the best of the best.

The Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts (AXC) program is part of The Learning Centers at Fairplex and has been developed in collaboration with automotive business owners and classic car enthusiasts from the Inland Valley.
