Red Bull Straight Rhythm Debuts at Fairplex

October 2, 2014

What happens when you unwind a supercross race course to create a whole new form of racing? Red Bull decided it was time to find out. Some of the most skilled motocross pros in the world privately tested a half-mile Straight Rhythm track late last year in a secluded location:

What is Red Bull Straight Rhythm? It’s supercross, minus the turns of a standard 1,500-foot circular course. The half-mile track is a straight speed streak from start to finish. In other words: a Straight Rhythm competition is all about daring and skill, an adrenaline-raiser from the second the race begins, to its equally exciting end.

Fairplex is no stranger to the motocross/supercross world, which is why we are so excited to be the venue where Red Bull Straight Rhythm makes its competition debut! This Saturday, motocross racers will go head-to-head at this evolutionary track, built directly onto the NHRA drag racing strip at Fairplex.

We can’t wait to see what this will look like in just a few days. Check back later for updates! In the meantime, you can learn more about supercross and Straight Rhythm at www.redbull.com.
