August 15, 2014

It’s been a pretty busy week at Fairplex, what with the Fair getting set-up and our last Food Truck Thursday finishing up yesterday, but we still have a full weekend of fun ahead! Keep reading to see how you should spend these waning summer nights:

Fairplex Summer Drive-In: Join us tonight at 7 p.m. for an old-fashioned drive-in movie experience, right here at Fairplex.

Enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, food trucks and some Los Angeles County Fair giveaways before settling down in your car with the whole family to watch our feature flick, Despicable Me 2.

$5 entry per car, with no passenger limit. Enter Gate 15, off Arrow Hwy. Hope to see you there!

626 Night Market: The ever-popular 626 Night Market returns once again to the San Gabriel Valley for a weekend of food, music and art. This weekend features special performances by singers Jun Sung Ahn and Joseph Vincent, Friday and Saturday night respectively. For more information, click here.

Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks: Classical music lovers will not want to miss this one. A Los Angeles summer tradition, the Hollywood Bowl will light up the night sky with fireworks set to some of Tchaikovsky’s most popular works. The show is this Friday and Saturday, beginning at 8 p.m. For more information, click here.

Dodgers vs. Brewers: The Los Angeles Dodgers return home after several weeks of away games to play against the Milwaukee Brewers. Load up on Dodger Dogs and garlic fries and catch them this Saturday or Sunday. To purchase tickets, click here.
