Coachella: The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is kicking off this weekend. While fans are setting up camp in the desert sands, brands like H&M, Lacoste, Harper Bazaar’s ShopBizarre and others are prepping for pool parties, a carnival (Armani Exchange) and other festivities.  BizBash has all the details on their site. Just in case you aren’t jealous you can’t make it, check out the full line-up here.

Facebook Home: Last week Mark Zuckerberg & co. announced the arrival of Facebook Home. To put it simply: Facebook Home allows users to access multiple apps simultaneously on their smartphones. You can chat with a friend over Facebook, while searching for a good place to eat and check your email–on one screen.

Men’s Fashion Week: A New York Men’s Fashion Week is in the works with plans to launch this summer. Event organizers are in the process of finding sponsors as well as persuading designers  to present.

Technology: There’s a new app in town. Phoster, as the free app is called, allows users to create their own virtual event invitations and posters. Options are plenty, as users can use photos, designs and other options to create the most visually appealing and professional looking virtual invitations as possible.
