  1. Can you bring your own beer?

    • No the Fair doesn’t allow for alcoholic beverages to be taken into the grounds. However you can bring water if you would like to.

  2. Ate at the avalon seafood in one of the buildings. Been attending fair for thirty five years and always hesitated to eat this type of food at this type of venue….I ordered fish&chips and added fried shrimp. The price was very reasonable but most importantly I had some of the best fish and most succulent shrimp I’ve eaten in quite some time. I now have a new #1 fair food that I can enjoy, hopefully for years to come. They have a restaurant in the real worl accross from the Deny’s on foothill near Quaker stadium in Rancho Cucamonga, enjoy!

    • We are so glad you enjoyed it! Our restaurants provide a way for guests to eat AND cool off from the heat 🙂 Thank you for the comment!

  3. Is there going to be 1.00 rides during opening day this year?

    • We will be offering $1 admission during Labor Day (opening) weekend during specific times of the day. Please visit our main site, lacountyfair.com for more information 🙂
As far as rides, that information is pending and we will let you know as soon as possible.
      Thank you for stopping by!

  4. Where do I find the entry forms for the International Draft Horse and Mule show?

  5. Is there any way to find out how much the carnival rides will cost?
Last year was a total bummer when my kids & I found that there were no rides accepting the wristbands we had bought after some ridiculously early cut-off time, and I couldn’t afford to spend a few hundred dollars on rides for them.
    Same game plan this year???
    Not for us…

  6. Hi Sam,
I’m sorry to hear about your experience last year. Carnival ride passes are available for purchase the day of, or you can buy online.
If you come on a Wednesday or Thursday, you can purchase admission + all-you-can-ride wristband for $25. These wristbands are good until 11 p.m. on the day you use them.
A full list of carnival prices are available at http://www.lacountyfair.com.
    Hope this helped!

  7. Will the fair have deep fried coke this year? We had some a few years back and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.

  8. Just curious…Why is it impossible to easily find information that would allow someone to understand what is needed to enter something into the fair competition?

    • Hi Clif,
Thank you for your patience. We are in the process of building our new website where you can enter into all of our competitions.
Once our website is built we will write a blog post with links directing you to the correct spot.
      Thank you again for waiting!

  9. In reading the last question on here, i see that i, like Clif, am going a little nutty trying to find info on the competitions — EVERY other category of the Fair seems to be up and running on the website. And, your reply to him was posted about 6 weeks ago. Any news??

    • Hi Lynne, We apologize for the delay in getting our competition apps up and running. We are working to get them up as soon as possible, and definitely within two weeks or less. We will make an announcement on our Facebook page and on our blog as soon as they are available. Thank you for your patience!

  10. Do you have wheelchairs or electric carts for the disabled?

  11. I’m interested in being an exibitor whom do i talk to?

  12. I wish i may
    I wish i might
    Have the wish
    I wish tonight:
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE COMPETITIONS PAGES!!! You all seem like such lovely people but jeezie-peezie….do you have NO ONE on your large, professional staff who knows how to do/fix these things??? Seriously, these links should not go-live until they are tested. BETTER to be a wee bit late than announcing up-&-readiness (i got my postcard) and look like doofus-hicks!

  13. Does anyone know if you can take michelada cups into the fair?

  14. Theres a great new stage show sharing the atage in Americas Great Outdoors exhibit. The edu-taining duo of Tim Womick and Greyson Keating, known as the TreeCircus perform daily shows sharing the gifts of trees. Its energetic and really fun!! It would make a wonderful post on the blog. Check them out Wednesday! You will LOVE them.

  15. Do you rent venues or areas for company picnics during your fair dates?
