We are in the throes of a talent war: Battle of the Bands 2013.
Our second annual competition brought local high-school and college bands to the Fair to rock out and compete for a spot at Vans Warped Tour. The talent is fierce and the competition is steep. Last year the judges liked all the finalists so much that all eight bands were invited to perform at Vans Warped Tour at Fairplex.
Who knows what the results will be this year, but the judges definitely have their work cut out for them. The finals are next Thursday, Sept. 26. You can catch some of the action in our music vlog:
