Things are definitely busy here on the grounds. Media came early this morning to film some of the best parts of the Fair (sea lions, farm animals and animation aplenty) and vendors are already frying up tasty dishes. We’re pumped to have you all join us today.
Here are some ways you can be ready for Fair time, just like we are ready for you!
1. Download the (free) L.A. County Fair Mobile App for your phone and check out our list of entertainment and attractions for the day. You can save a lot of time with a glance at the app. It is available for download in the iTunes app store and through Google.
2. Purchase your tickets online! You can purchase tickets online via www.lacountyfair.com (just click the button at the top).
3. Bring the essentials: Cameras, smartphones, sunscreen and plenty of water are a necessity at the Fair. You want to capture all those memorable moments, stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun.

Smartphones are NOT a necessity. The Fair was great even when smartphones weren’t invented yet. In fact, you can leave all phones at home, and you’ll have an even better time.
The other stuff is kind of a necessity though, yeah.
