There’s been a lot of activity happening over in FairView Farms. Last night we had another baby calf born! We’d like to welcome Carlisle into the Fair family.
Crowds gathered for several hours as the mother cow was in labor and our Director Farm Operations Sky Shivers shared about the whole process.
This brings our birthing tally to three sheep, 14 chicks and four calves born so far. Way to go mama animals! Don’t forget, next week is your last chance to possible see another one of our moms-to-be bring another little critter into the world.
i had the experiance of wathcing pepper big birth for the first time on sat september 24th…omg.. what a wonderful expericance that was for me… sky walked the crowd into this birth what a wonderful man he is…. i thank whomever is involved in letting this event take place at the fair of animals giving birth… its so nataure like.. i went back the next day i couldnt sleep i wanted to c how the baby was doing and the new mama….i had the chance to speak with sky…..what a pleasure and the knowledge this man has…wow i carry this day and i talk about it with people…thank you sky so very much….sarah
